Spring-Easter Tour 2026

Years ago, I was all about decorating for Easter.  I had decorations all over the house, but now I prefer a home that is more decorated for spring with a hint of Easter thrown in.

The Entry

In the entry, I added crocheted eggs beside the lantern, placed on the bench as you come in the front door.

The other lantern, in the entry, has bunnies looking through the glass, and both lanterns are trimmed with spring flowers.

On the entry table, I’ve added wooden shaped bunnies, along with the vase of spring flowers.

The Dining Room

The dining room has more wooden bunnies placed along the edge of the mirror.  The teakettle that is on the one China cab has a bunny peeking out of the baby’s breath.

You can find these wooden bunnies on Amazon, here! I receive a small commission as an Amazon affiliate.

The Living Room

Moving into the living room, I added a bunny pillow to the center of the couch, which I love – it’s so springy and Easter-y!  I chose light-colored pillows for each end of the couch and added spring foliage to the wooden bowl on the coffee table.

The wooden bunny set can be found on Amazon, here!

I exchanged the brown cozy throw from winter for a blue throw that feels like summer is nearby!

The bar now hosts a wooden “Happy Easter” set that I love. Don’t you think this bunny set is cute? The bar can be found on Amazon. The rounded shelves can be turned to the inside of the cabinet, so they are hidden. The sides of the cabinet have doors with shelves. It’s unique. You can find the bar cabinet on Amazon, here!

The Kitchen

In the kitchen, I placed a basket with crocheted eggs and a bow on top of the handle.  I feel it’s enough until Easter Sunday, when we’ll color eggs and place them in the Easter basket that is ages old.  It’s one we first bought when our son was around 1 ½ years old.  It’s pure nostalgia, and I wouldn’t give it up for anything.

There are a variety of crochet Easter eggs in the basket. You can find a couple of my patterns on Ravelry. The Easter egg cozy pattern can be found here. The other patterns can be found on Amazon here.

About Easter

Easter embodies so much more than dressing up in our finest Easter outfits, hunting Easter eggs, or that much-awaited Easter ham with the sticky-sweet glaze.  It’s Christ’s sacrifice on the cross to save mankind.

And yet, that statement seems too broad to grasp.  What does it mean to save mankind?  We still perish.  It’s about living a life that’s Christ-centered in the present and then, when we die, spending eternity with Christ.

Many want all the answers.  Why would Christ have to die in the first place?  Can’t God just snap his fingers and we’re all saved without Christ coming to earth in human form, live a life here, and then die on the cross?  That, my friend, is where faith comes in.  If we had all the answers, we wouldn’t need faith.  For me, that’s all the answer I need.

May you each have a blessed Easter and a day filled with love.

Happy Easter!
