As we continue our fall home tour, we’re looking at the dining room, living area, the kitchen, powder room, and breakfast area.

Past my office, we approach the dining room, across from the entry table.  For more of an autumn feel, I replaced the large crochet table topper, which can be seen and ordered here, with the cut lace tablecloth, an heirloom from hubby’s side of the family.

I placed ceramic fall leaves with candles on each side of the hydrangeas.

I added sprigs of fall leaves to the mirror and some fall décor to the center, lower shelves of the China cabinets that flank the window.

Fall décor, both pieces given to me by my dear friend, Vicki Mashburn, are placed on the lower shelves of the China cabinets that flank the window.  And, yes, the butter churn is a family heirloom, and the coffee urn is also an antique, though not a family heirloom. I love both pieces!

Lastly, another pot of faux mums is placed on the floor next to the dried arrangement. This is another mum I’ve had for many, many years.

The fall powder

The powder is on the opposite side of the hall, beyond the console table.  The cabinet in there is one we purchased from Hobby Lobby before we moved into the house.  Since purchasing this cabinet, we exchanged the legs for these, from Amazon. The cabinet is now a bit shorter and fits our small powder, better! The powder has no cabinets whatsoever, and I needed something to house extra supplies.  I thought this cabinet was way too cute to pass up and just what we needed for the space.

The picture above is one I fairly recently purchased from Kirkland’s while it was on sale. It’s too cute!

The candle holder is one I got from Kirkland’s, and throughout the year, I dress it up with foliage representative of the holidays and/or season.  I removed the sweet, daisy-like flowers of summer and exchanged them for the fall flowers.  You can also purchase these lanterns in a set of two from Amazon, here. The crochet table runner is one of my patterns that can be purchased from Ravelry, here.

Approaching the living room, my main focal point is the entertainment center that I left as-is.  The secondary focal point is the fireplace.  I like to downplay it so it doesn’t compete with the entertainment center, so I place low-profile décor.

This year, I placed the Thanksgiving sign (from Hobby-Lobby) to one side with fall leaves.  I couldn’t find this product on the Hobby Lobby site, but they do have other cute signs. On the opposite side, I put two candle pillars with battery-operated candles.  Next to them, I added my crafted scarecrow made from hand towels.  I’ll add instructions for making this cute scarecrow to the blog later – it makes such a cute gift!

On top of the bench, I placed a lantern with a grouping of leaves on the top and inside the case.  It looks so cute angled on the bench with the fall foliage.  I draped a soft white throw over the opposite side and placed a pillow I purchased from Hobby Lobby.  You can find similar pillows here

On the small table next to the swivel/rocker, I added the third candle pillar, accompanied by another battery-operated candle, both dressed with fall leaves.

The staircase has another fall leaf garland added to the railing and a cute little fall sign placed over the end. Unfortunately, I don’t recall where I picked up the signage. There are so many available that are just as cute from Amazon, Hobby Lobby, Kirkland’s, and Wayfair.

The couch now has five pillows, but when I first started taking pictures, the center pillow wasn’t there.  I placed a brown-colored throw on the right side, along with one of my cream-colored pillows and a pillow with a pumpkin design on the front.  This cover can be ordered through Amazon here.  The pillows can also be used outdoors, and they can be found on Amazon, here

On the left side of the couch, I have the second cream-colored pillow with another that has been stamped with a large fall leaf.

The coffee table holds a wood bowl with ornamental balls and a few twigs of fall foliage.

The loveseat features a brown pillow and a plaid throw, both purchased from Amazon here and here, along with a lumbar pillow that I usually place on our bed during the summer months.

I recently purchased this trio of ceramic pumpkins from Kirkland’s, and I love them!  I created an arrangement with fall leaves, and it’s just too stink’n cute!  You can purchase these pumpkins from Kirkland’s here

I haven’t added much fall décor to our kitchen, but I did display the pumpkin pie dish on the island and a pumpkin-patch kitchen towel that I draped over the stove.  There are so many cute pumpkin dishes now, I could go crazy!

We wind our way to the breakfast area, where I added more fall foliage to the hanging lantern, as well as to the top of the picture ladder.

The picture ladder shown on the side wall is a recent purchase. It has six frames, and we thought it would be cute to include the pics of our furbabies. One for each special baby that has come into our lives over the past thirty years. Marley, of course, is still with us. It’s a great way to showcase grandchildren, or whatever is meaningful in your life. You can purchase this picture ladder from Kirkland’s.

I like placing a chair angled to the table instead of all four being scooted up under the table. It just makes for a more relaxed atmosphere. Again, this is another pillow in the set of four I bought at Amazon.

I’ve had my eyes on a sweet bolster from Amazon, but it’s a bit pricey for me. I like to wait for the sales, but I was anxious. Instead, I found this cute fall pillow from Kirkland’s that I couldn’t pass up. And it was on sale! Yay!

That’s it for this year’s fall home tour. I hope you enjoyed it and found some items that might make their way to your home to enjoy this fall.
